It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Flo (Dares) Kruse.
Daughter Sharon Ginn reports
"Mom passed away on Sunday the 12th [of October 2003] at 10:30 pm.
She had lung cancer (did not know until we were home from reunion)
and died at home, and in her bed as she wanted."
Flo and Peggy Wright were co-chairs
to prepare and present information on the DARES family at the Reunion.
After the Reunion, Flo wrote to Peggy:
"I sure enjoyed the Reunion, and meeting you, Ann & Bill, and Chris,
and all the rest, is really nice.
We did get up around Porter's Lake. It is
huge. I thought it would be a small lake.
No other place could compare
with Lunenburg, tho, it is such a lovely spot.
" It's a good feeling, having some family, I never knew existed,
until we
started this genealogy thing. Cousin Flo."
