Died: 14 Jan 1939.

Father: Johann Isaac DEAL #28 (b 19 Jan 1822 - d 10 Oct 1881).
Mother: Sophia Harriet LANGILLE #29 (b 29 Jul 1829 - d 6 Apr 1915).

Married: 24 Dec 1888 Elizabeth RITCEY #15 (b 14 Mar 1862 - d 24 Nov 1944 at Lunenburg).

Children:

  1. Fred DEAL (b - d 3 Jun 1975) m Jean;
  2. Mary Blanche DEAL, #7 (5 Nov 1891 - d 11 Oct 1952) m 25 Jan 1913 Leo Parks CORKUM, #6


This is the last Will and Testament of me, Charles Alvin Deal of Lower Kingsburg, in the County of Lunenburg and Province of Nova Scotia, Farmer, hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and declaring this only to be my Last Will and Testament,

I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Elizabeth Deal all my personal property,

I nominate and appoint my son Fred W. Deal to be executor of this my Last Will and Testament,

I direct my said executor to pay all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses as soon as conveniently may be after my decease,

I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Corkum, wife of Leo Corkum, of Lunenburg, the sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) and I charge the real estate hereinafter devised to my said son Fred W. Deal with the payment of said legacy and said legacy is to constitute a first lien upon said real estate. I also charge said real estate with the payment of all probate fees in connection with my estate and with the maintenance and support of my said wife Elizabeth Deal during the period of her natural life and my said wife is also to have a home in the dwelling on said lands and premises during the period of her natural life,

All the remainder, rest and residue of my estate of whatsoever kind or description and wheresoever situate I give, devise and bequeath to my said son Fred W. Deal.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand this 23rd day of June, A.D., 1934.
